Our mission is to assist anyone and everyone no matter where you are in your fitness journey. We are here to assist you in reaching your full potential in and out of the gym that will transfer over to daily life activities. We pride ourselves with improving overall quality of movement!
Christina is the founder and owner of Gravel Fitness. She believes that the ultimate goal for exercise is to prepare the body for everyday activities (walking, bending, lifting, reaching, etc) without pain or discomfort. The workouts Christina provides will prepare you for the most important type of physical activity, the kind that challenges you for real-life, daily living activities.
Christina grew up as a former athlete where she became fascinated at what the human body is capable of. This led her to obtain an athletic scholarship to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, graduating in honors with a degree in Physical Health and Education.
Back in Canada, she attended a post graduate degree in Exercise Science and Physiology. This then led her to become self employed as a business owner and found of Gravel Fitness, a personal training and active rehabilitation center that focuses on proper form, increased mobility and injury prevention.
Working with patients who had injuries led her to want a deeper understanding of the human body, then leading her into the field of Osteopathy. After an intensive 4 year program, she graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.
Christina is a life long believer in consistency and progress. She will always promote positivity to her clients through physical and mental health, and will always be your number one cheerleader!

-Physiotherapist Assistant (2021)

-CPR/AED and First Aid
-Barbell Rebab Certified
-Rowing Instructor Certified
-Mobile WOD Certified
-Training Females Level 1 Certified
John is a certified personal trainer and kinesiologist with expert knowledge. John's journey into fitness and health started back in high school where a friend introduced him to the gym atmosphere. John slowly began to feel and see the benefits of physical activity. It was in these early years that John sparked a passion to learn more about fitness and health.
John obtained his degree in Kinesiology at Brock University. To expand his knowledge, he further educated himself through post grad diplomas at Niagara College for Fitness & Health Promotion and Exercise Science. John is currently educating himself on the structure and function of the human body as a whole at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, graduating in Fall of 2025.
As a trainer, John ensures the most out of every training session. He wants you to feel pride in what you've accomplished, whether small or large, every step of the way!
